A case study based on providing reliable and cost effective shipping/delivery services by adding Trader Joe's as a potential client in order to increase business revenue, and improve the user experience.

Executive Summary

From the business perspective, the problem is that consumers need to have a compelling reason why to buy through the Shipt app instead of Instacart. From the end user perspective, the problem is getting groceries from Trader Joe's delivered to their homes with maximum order efficiency, least effort, and at a fair price.

Objectives and Goals

Given the success that Shipt has had with it's retailers, it is expanding its grocery delivery services to include a grocery store with a cult like following such as Trader Joes.

To knock it out of the park the first month, our UX team was asked to feature the most popular grocery store items found only at Trader Joe's to boost company sales.

The business wants to see groceries from Trader Joe's generate 3 million USD, a month, in the first. year.

Target User Synthesis

In order to to remain user focused we built out personas with our findings from our first interviews and tasks we conducted on the original Shipt app and formulated a journey map based on our research results.
